Forrester Savell is an ARIA nominated and internationally renowned producer and mixer currently based in Australia.
Over the last ten years and then some, he has established himself as one of the country’s go-to producers, with a showreel of international and local artists singing his praises. In addition to this Forrester is also a registered ‘Mastered for iTunes’ mastering engineer.

Aside from savant-like mixing skills, Forrester has garnered critical acclaim from the artists he works with for his uncanny ear, songsmithing smarts, and highly focused, at times intensely demanding production techniques.
Forrester will push the artist to get the very best and beyond. And wherever possible, he likes to be involved in building songs from the ground up.
By forming a genuine musical rapport with his clients, he provides an environment whereby they not only nail the performance but also capture that special something and take their songs to the next level.
Forrester’s synergistic commitment to perfection is not only touted by the acts he works with but is evidenced in the end product itself. It has resulted in him earning two “Producer of the Year” ARIA nominations – one for Karnivool’s sophomore Gold-selling album Sound Awake and the other for Dead Letter Circus’s Gold-selling debut, This Is The Warning.
WHAT IS HIS BACKGROUND?
A star graduate of the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2000, Forrester Savell moved to Melbourne where he quickly made a name for himself at the iconic Metropolis Audio working with the likes of Sum41, Something for Kate, Alex Lloyd, Birtles Shorrock Goble, Delta Goodrem, and Pete Murray.
In 2003, Forrester was invited to Los Angeles to work at the famous NRG Studios in North Hollywood. Here he co-produced and engineered on the Columbia record, Full Scale with uber-producer Jay Baumgardner (Evanescence) and engineer John Ewing Jr (Tonic, Sugar Ray).
During this time, he was also privileged to engineer for the legendary Helmet on their Size Matters album.
