WHAT IS HIS STYLE?
Aside from savant-like mixing skills, Forrester has garnered critical acclaim from the artists he works with for his uncanny ear, songsmithing smarts, and highly focused, at times intensely demanding production techniques.
Forrester will push the artist to get the very best and beyond. And wherever possible, he likes to be involved in building songs from the ground up.
By forming a genuine musical rapport with his clients, he provides an environment whereby they not only nail the performance but also capture that special something and take their songs to the next level.
Forrester’s synergistic commitment to perfection is not only touted by the acts he works with but is evidenced in the end product itself. It has resulted in him earning two “Producer of the Year” ARIA nominations – one for Karnivool’s sophomore Gold-selling album Sound Awake and the other for Dead Letter Circus’s Gold-selling debut, This Is The Warning.
